Houses, In order to hire a house or apartments, we would 
advise the stranger to go to some real estate dealer and enquire 
for rates etc., and then visit the houses themselves; Brasch 
& Rothenstein will give all information of this kind and 
thus much unnecessary trouble can be avoided. All assess 
ments, water tax, etc. are paid by the owner; the supply of 
gas being the only thing the hirer must look to himself. See

Information, Bureau of. The Bureau of Mercan 
tile Information of Mr. W. Schimmelpfeng, Behrenstrasse 47, 
holds an astonishing but well earned reputation for the in 
telligent and energetic manner in which all matters of business 
and credit are managed. This grand institution employs over 
200 persons and has its chief office at Vienna and branches at 
Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and in other large cities of 
Germany. All kinds of business information and advice re 
garding commercial credit are given; a proof of the accuracy 
and truth of the managment is the fact that in 1886 over 
halj a million reports were issued.
