Packing. It is easier to travel than to pack your luggage, 
and many travellers will be glad to know before leaving 
Berlin how to get this tedious and troublesome business taken

can be engaged to pack any amount of luggage into the 
smallest possible compass, and in the shortest possible time. 
Painting'S. The connoisseur and purchaser of paint 
ings ought by all means to spend an hour or so in the Art 
Rooms of Messrs Honrath and van Baerle, Unter den Lin 
den 3, near the Wilhelm Strasse. In the Department of 
modern paintings, this is the oldest establishment in Berlin, 
its owners having constant personal connection with the greatest 
ateliers of Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf, Florence, Rome etc. and 
their excellent reputation for good taste can assure the lover of 
fine art that the best and most interesting works are always 
to be found in their rooms which are always open to visitors 
at all hours. — Messrs Honrath and van Baerle would also 
like to call attention to the fact that their customers are 
especially numerous in the United States and they are always 
pleased to exhibit their stock to Americans whose generous 
patronage it has been their constant aim to retain. 
Paintings. The Gallery of Fine Arts of Mr. Edward 
Schulte, Unter den Linden 4 a (formerly occupied by Mr. N. 
L. Lepke) always has on exhibition a rich collection of first- 
class paintings of German and foreign masters, among whom
