Kursinhalt: This two-day workshop presents librarians with the opportunity to
hone key presentation skills in English. Focusing on databases, we will explore
ways to explain your work in ways that engages different types of library patrons.
The over-arching aim is to strengthen your ability to present in English the re-
sources your repository has to offer. Participants will take part in simulations and
language exercises.
Specific Objectives: Increase confidence in your ability to present information
about data repositories in English – Strengthen your ability to establish relation-
ships with different types of patrons – Acquire key terminology for English-lan-
guage presentations – Identify personal challenges – Build competence in areas
where you wish to improve.
