Access and Rights Status
Access Authorisation
The access authorisations control how accessible your publications should be for users.
Restricted Access with Usage Restriction (Legal Standard)
As the ZLB, we have the right to make your publication accessible to users on the premises of the ZLB (see Art. 1 (5) of the Mandatory Copies Act). In doing so, we implement technical protective measures to ensure that the work cannot be reproduced, modified or distributed without authorisation. We ensure that it is not possible to copy, send or completely print out your publication.
Restricted Access
If you want users to be able to read your publication only on the premises of the ZLB and without these technical protective measures, select Restricted access.
Free Access
If you want your publication to be accessible from any location worldwide without any usage restrictions, select Free access.
Please note:
If you select the access authorisation Free access, you or your organisation must hold all copyright usage rights to all parts of the work and must ensure that the rights of third parties, in particular the copyright and personal rights of third parties, are not infringed by the publication. However, you must inform us immediately if any claims are made.
